Branding for a new edition of Graphic Days Festival .

Gaphic Days - an error apology is a reinterpretation of the visual identity of the Turin visual and social design festival.

The focus of this imaginary edition is both the exaltation of printing methods and the reworking of its identity through error and chance, the infinite possibility of transformation. In fact, the error in graphic design is more properly considered as a turning away from the rule, not following what is imposed, knowing the rule and breaking it. The exaltation of the error is a possibility of change and revisitation, progression towards different directions.

In this way, the core of the project was to use a scanner to reimagine a new way to visualize the identity of festival, with the reference of the use of the tool in the making of the ‘90s fanzines, as a symbol of rebellion and expression of the subcultures.

And then the errors came out!

After have made all the elements with a handcrafted method, I’ve digitally combined the textures and lettering to create the offline and online supports for the the festival. Posters, banners, printed program, rollups, flags, and social.
